How Dribbble made ‘Puzzld!’ beautiful

Since we showed the first video for ‘Puzzld!’, our upcoming, in-review childrens’ iPad game, we’ve heard a lot about how gorgeous it is, and we could not agree more. Jacob Souva at Two Fish Illustration exceeded every one of our expectations. We are so pleased to have partnered with Two Fish, and owe it to Dribbble for helping to make it happen.

If you’re not familiar with the site, Dribbble is an invitation-only destination for creatives to show off what they’re currently working on. It’s easy to spend hours perusing the various ‘shots’ (work samples) uploaded by the designers, illustrators, and developers. That’s what we did one afternoon a few months ago.

Using the ‘Illustration’ tag we found a few artists who worked in a style we thought would be perfect for ‘Puzzld!’ and quickly started to focus on the work of Jacob Souva at Two Fish. While Dribbble is not set up to put potential clients directly in touch with the creatives, many have their sites listed in their Dribbble profile. We were happy to see that Two Fish listed their site, and we were able to connect that way. Now, a few months later, we have a stunningly illustrated game waiting for review in the app store, and we couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out.
